From May 2-6 i was backpacking in the Grand Canyon. The area we were in is called Havasupai, which is on the Havasu Indian Reservation. They are the only people who still live in the canyon. Havasu means "people of the blue green waters" and still to this day receive their mail by horseback...

I am so jealous! The pictures are beautiful. It looks like a great place to get away. Speaking of getting away, how's the cousin camping trip coming? If we weren't planning to go in the dead of summer in the sweltering heat, I'd have you take us here.
